Protecting your personal data is very important to us. We process your data solely in accordance with the statutory provisions (GDPR, BDSG, TDDDG). This website does not use tracking, analytics services or advertising cookies.

2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 101 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA. When you visit the website, your browser automatically sends information to the server, which is stored in log files: IP address, date and time of access, requested file/URL, referrer URL, browser and operating system used.

This processing ensures a smooth connection and the security and stability of the system, based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place with Netlify. Transfers to the USA are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Log data is deleted automatically after a short period.

3. Contact form

If you contact us via the contact form, we process the details you provide (e.g. name, email address, phone number, message) to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) or steps prior to entering into a treatment contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Form data is transmitted and stored via Netlify Forms (Netlify, Inc., see above) and deleted once your enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by emailing praxis@zahnarzt-buchner.de.

Please do not send medical records or other sensitive health data via the form.

4. Contact by email or phone

If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details to deal with your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR; for health data Art. 9(2)(h) GDPR).

5. Google Maps (only after you click)

On some pages you can display a Google Maps map (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). The map is only loaded when you click “Load map”. Only then is data – in particular your IP address – transferred to Google and possibly to the USA. Your choice is noted in your browser’s local storage so the map is shown directly on later visits; you can withdraw this at any time by clearing this website’s data in your browser. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) TDDDG). More information: policies.google.com/privacy.

6. Online booking and external links

For online appointment booking we link to the Dr. Flex service (Dr. Flex GmbH). Data is only transferred to the provider once you follow the link; their privacy policy then applies. The same applies to links to external services such as Jameda, Google Maps (route planning) or Dropbox (job advert).

7. Fonts

The fonts used on this website (Lato, Montserrat) are hosted locally on our server. No connection is made to servers of Google or other providers.

8. Cookies and local storage

We do not use cookies for analytics or advertising. Only if you close a notice (e.g. about practice holidays) is this recorded in your browser’s local storage so that the notice does not appear again. This is strictly necessary for the service you requested (Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG).

9. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). You can withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, e.g. the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany, www.lda.bayern.de.

10. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser’s address bar.
