A safe way to remove discolouration deep within the enamel and whiten your teeth gently – even with a caring effect.

Teeth whitening (bleaching)

Would you like a bright, radiant, well-cared-for smile?

Not everyone has naturally white teeth. Tooth colour is genetically determined and can also darken due to external factors – for example tea, coffee, red wine, nicotine or certain medications.

Modern whitening methods can remove even discolouration that has penetrated deep into the enamel. The whitening gels contain potassium nitrate and fluoride – substances also found in natural enamel. They have a caring effect and protect the health of the enamel during whitening.

The right method for you

Tailored to your individual situation

Medical teeth whitening should follow a professional teeth cleaning. This removes surface deposits and stains beforehand so the whitening gel can penetrate the enamel unhindered.

As not every method is suitable for every patient and every tooth, we offer different options:

Power bleaching
Carried out in our practice. While your gums are covered with a special protection, we apply a concentrated whitening gel. The result is visible immediately afterwards.
Home bleaching
You do it yourself at home: you receive a thin, custom-made tray into which you put a mild whitening gel. The tray is worn for a few hours during the day or overnight. The final result is reached after a few days; we monitor progress in the practice.
Whitening root-filled teeth
Teeth that have had root canal treatment can darken over time. Especially for front teeth it can then make sense to whiten the tooth from the inside (internal bleaching). The gel is placed inside the tooth and left there for 3–5 days – again under our supervision.
